About The Bracelet

We wanted to have something to keep Abbey's memory alive. We decided on the bracelet.

Abbey liked a lot of different genres of music. Most recently she was listening to southern rock. In her phone we found that several days before she died, she had highlighted these lyrics from 'Simple Man' by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since that was on her mind, it went on her bracelet.

"Stay Wavy" was something that she and her close friends would say to each other. Then people started contacting us and telling us how much Abbey meant to them and how she helped them with situations. We started to see that she had a ripple effect through people and now especially as an organ donor.

So that's the story of the bracelet. We wear it or keep it around to remind us of Abbey and that we should live life to the fullest, because tomorrow is uncertain. Abbey's humor, zest for life, giving spirit, and fearlessness lives on and keeps us motivated to start ripples.
